Days Well Spent

If I could spend the day with anyone it would be with people who have left my life or that are already in my life. I do not long to meet famous people, because they're famous for what they've done and not their personality. I like who I have in my life and do not want to change what I already have.

I would spend one day with two of the people and spend another day with someone else. I would like to spend the first day with my late great uncle Benny and my great aunt Jean. I'd like to spend the day with my uncle Benny because he said one day he would sit me down and talk to me about all of his experiences before he died, but he never had the chance to. I'd like to include my aunt Jean in this adventure because I'd like to give her the chance to see him just one more time. This is why I'd like to spend the day with them. We would enjoy our time together making pizza, and talking. I'd really enjoy this day.

I'd like to spend the other day with my grandma Micky. That's not actually her name, but everyone called her Micky. I am named after her and am told that I look just like her. I'd like to meet her because I never got to because she died before I was born. I long for a chance to meet her because my dad always tells me stories from his childhood and she seems like such a nice person. I think this would be a day well spent. We could walk to the park or just stay home and talk. This would be a great opportunity for us to have together.

When people pass they are no longer here with us to spend time with. There is a quote that goes, "It's not that you didn't know what you had, it's you just never thought you'd lose it." I am saddened that I didn't have more time with these wonderful people. These days are really a dream, and when I go to heaven they'll be a reality.

Again?

What's the fun in going somewhere you have already been or have no interest in going? Why would you spend your time somewhere you don't want to be? I know personally from my experience sometimes my school will have field trips to places I have already been or don't want to go to.

Field trips are a fun activity and a great thing to look forward to most of the time, but I do not like field trips to places I have already been because I get bored. For example, I remember in sixth grade when we went to Medieval Times. I was very bored with the show because I'd already seen it. I understand you can't conform to everyone but I do wish that kids could have the option of another activity instead of being forced to do the same thing again(I understand that you could not turn in the permission slip but with some parents that is not an option). I understand that some people enjoy things over and over again and I do too but things that I get  bored with I do not enjoy over and over again. This is why I think this should be an option.

I believe that if children had the choice in which activity they would like to do more the students would be happier. And not just happier but I know they would also behave better. This is what I hope will be able to change in the future.

You Jump, I Jump, Remember?

Kick your feet back, you're in for the best three hour movie of your life. From Jack saving Rose to fine dining. The betrayal and finding out who you love. Figuring out money isn't as great as love. Titanic keeps you on your feet as this love story unfolds. It's well written lines will run through your head for hours while you sit pondering if the theory that Jack isn't real is true.

This classic depicts the story of the Titanic the "Unsinkable" ship. The historic tale of this ship is fused with the love story of Rose and Jack. This movie is about more than just survival it's about what makes you want to survive, the love you can have for someone and what this will do to you.

This work of art will forever be a classic as well as a tribute to those who perished in this journey across the sea. Now stop reading this, go watch it!
